Gas Meter Overview

All the meters detailed here are generally available from stock. Our most popular lines are listed here, we have a much wider range of sizes, details available on request.

There are three main types of meter used for natural gas and LPG. These are diaphragm, turbine and rotary positive displacement. Pressure and temperature correction is available as an option when required. Sizing is of great importance to ensure the pressure drop through the meter is as low as possible. Pressure loss charts are available on request or the sales office will calculate them for you

All the meters detailed have a pulsed output and come with a 12 month warranty

Heat

Electronic, battery-powered compact thermal energy meter for recording heat consumption in autonomous heating systems or heating/cooling consumption in heating/cooling systems.
The Supercal 539 compact thermal energy meter is used to measure heat energy or combined heating/cooling energy. The main area of application is a central heating or heating/cooling system that distributes heat or heat/cool to individuals, who are then invoiced for the heat or heat/cool used. Owing to its additional and optional pulse inputs (for the connection of water meters for example) the integration of a low cost system becomes a reality
